Q565 FM DVB Transcoder

Q565-FM can receive up to 8 FM radio channels and convert them to a DVB-compatible MPEG-2 transport stream.

The Q565-FM can receive up to 8 FM radio channels and convert them to a DVB-compatible MPEG-2 transport stream. Output can either be IP or DVB-ASI.
The device can be used to make locally received FM radio programs available to the digital infrastructure of cable network operators. Due to its DSP-based hardware, the Q565-FM is compact (19 1U housing) and highly energy-efficient ( 2W per stereo channel).

Several ordering options are available to adapt the configuration to the customer´s requirements in a flexible way.

Ancillary Data:

RDS data will be extracted from the FM signal and converted to UECP. UECP data can then be embedded in MPEG audio data or transported as Private Stream inside the MPEG-2 Transport Stream.

Power Supply Redundancy Option:
